Regulated power supply for Bench Mode work.
It supplies the removed control unit with the voltage and current required during reading and writing. A control unit outside the vehicle must be powered cleanly to communicate.
A poorly adjusted supply or an unstable source causes voltage drops at the moment current demand increases, that is, during the write phase.

ALIENTECH KESS3 CABLES
An official accessory for every vehicle
Each cable in the Alientech range is designed and certified to ensure stable and secure communication between your KESS3 and the target ECU. Unlike generic cables, official Alientech cables are developed in parallel with protocol updates: when a new vehicle is supported, the corresponding cable is bench-validated by Alientech engineers before commercialization.
No risk of interruption during writing, no data loss, no damaged ECUs.

Choosing the right accessory for your vehicle
Alientech cables are divided into three families depending on how they connect to the ECU.
OBD cables connect directly to the vehicle's diagnostic port, without disassembly. This is the fastest method for vehicles that support it.
Bench cables allow you to work on the removed ECU, connected via its external connector. No opening of the housing is necessary: ideal for ECUs inaccessible via OBD or to secure intervention on a fragile module.
Boot cables and multifilar cables provide direct access to the microprocessor on an open electronic board. Essential for locked ECUs or in case of forced rewriting after a blockage.

Each reference is identifiable by its Alientech number (format 144300KXXX) and corresponds to a specific connector and protocol.
OBD Mode
Fast communication directly from the passenger compartment. The new-generation OBD cable unifies all market protocols and automatically manages complex multiplexed architectures (Ethernet, FlexRay, CAN Bus, K-Line, J1850).
Bench Mode
Intervene directly on the external connector of the previously removed ECU. This method guarantees a full read without opening the ECU casing, eliminating any risk of material damage.
Boot Mode
Access the microprocessor directly by connecting to the open electronic board. Essential for the latest generation of high-security ECUs, or to force a complete rewrite on a locked ECU.
The cable: the first link for a safe intervention
An Alientech cable alone is not enough: it integrates into a complete ecosystem. The main OBD cable (144300KOBD) or the universal cable (144300KUNI) serves as the base, and adapter cables like this one complete the connection for vehicles with non-standard sockets. For Bench and Boot operations, flat cables, adapters, and positioning frames complete the setup.
