During an ECU remap using a tool like KESS3 or AutoTuner, a voltage drop during the writing process can corrupt the ECU. The Gysflash 100-12 HF maintains a stabilized voltage throughout the operation, regardless of the vehicle's electrical demand.
The battery change mode also secures a frequent workshop operation: replacing a battery without losing the vehicle's stored settings (radio, seats, engine parameters).
