The KESS3 subscription provides access to new protocols published by Alientech, the virtual reading service, web services linked to protocol operation and technical support. It is unique and depends only on the device version, not on the vehicle types or communication modes activated.
The Alientech protocol catalogue is regularly updated as new control units enter the market. A device without an active subscription continues to work on already activated protocols but no longer receives new ones.

Which plan should I choose?
The price depends on when you renew, not on an additional option: the three plans provide access to the same services once active.
Active subscription
Early renewal
Your subscription is still active. If you renew before it expires: the new period starts on the scheduled expiry date, without losing a single day. This is the cheapest of the three options.
Just expired
Renewal: this product
Your subscription has just expired, or you are renewing right after. The new 12-month period starts on the renewal date, slightly more expensive than anticipated, as the subscription was no longer active at the time of purchase.
Expired, Services Suspended
Reactivation
Your subscription has been expired for a while: protocols already activated are still functioning, but the tool no longer receives new protocols, and access to online services and support is suspended. Reactivation restarts a 12-month period and restores these accesses.
