Protocol pack for KESS3 Slave covering boats and jet-skis, including OBD, Bench and Boot modes.
In Slave version, read files are encrypted. The modified calibration map is provided by your reference Master.
OBD mode reads and writes via the diagnostic port without removal. Bench mode connects directly to the control unit connector. Boot mode connects to specific points on the circuit board. This pack covers all access methods from older to the latest powertrains.
As marine activity is seasonal, the Slave version limits capital outlay on a segment that only runs for a few months a year.

Supported Vehicles and Modes
Before ordering, please check that the category and mode correspond to your usage, as the protocol cannot be modified after activation.

Sufficient if you almost always work from the diagnostic port, without removing the ECU. Sold for €590.00 excl. VAT for Boats/Jet Skis.

Needed for cloning or the most secure ECUs. Sold for €390.00 excluding tax for Boats/Jet Skis.

Activation requirements
How is the protocol activated?
Activation is performed remotely on your KESS3 Slave unit, using your Alientech ID, within 24 to 48 hours after your order
Is the protocol time-limited?
No: activation is permanent for the chosen category and mode. Only vehicle compatibility updates are covered for 12 months, then renewable.
Can I add more categories later?
Yes, each category and each mode can be ordered separately or as a pack. You can upgrade your KESS3 Slave as your business grows.

Does this protocol work without a KESS3 Slave unit?
No, this is a software extension: it requires an Alientech KESS3 Slave unit that you already own and have activated.
What's the difference compared to "OBD Protocols - Boats/Jet Skis" or "Bench-Boot Protocols - Boats/Jet Skis" alone?
This pack brings together both: you don't have to buy the OBD protocol (€590.00 excl. VAT) and the Bench-Boot protocol (€390.00 excl. VAT) separately for the same category.
What is "full protocol activation"?
This is the equivalent of this protocol, but extended to all vehicle categories (Cars/LCVs, Motorcycles/Quads/UTVs, Agriculture/Heavy Goods Vehicles/Buses, Boats/Jet-skis) for the chosen mode.
Is the protocol different between a KESS3 Slave and a KESS3 Master?
The content of the protocol (vehicles and modes covered) is identical; only the product reference changes depending on your device's version.
